Theme
The theme in my book "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson is "Lonely". She is a total outcast and now she lost her best friend Heather. She is now lonely for sure. Another theme that I could think of is "Sometimes Just Shutup". Melinda wouldn't have been in this situation if her mouth never open. Who knows maybe she would have been popular? She is so lonely. All great things end in a suprising way and I believe the book will end suprisingly. There is no doubt about that.

Identifying theme is very important when you read. I would have liked to have seen you elaborate, and explain how you knew this was the theme, how the characters, plot and setting support this theme, and why the author might have promoted this theme.
