Personification

First of all before I talk about personifaction I am going to define you the word. Personifaction is when you describe something that is not human such as an animal or object. I am going to show you some examples of personification. It brings an object or animal to life.

When the rain was pouring it made it seem like the kid was crying.

Narrative Poem

Tommy was walking down the mean streets of California

He was with his gangsta friends of a secret criminal society

As he was walking he sees a fast bullet

The bullet was as fast as a water balloon

He saw the bullet aiming for his friend Tony

He remembered the bullet go through Tony’s Blood Tissue and the blood spilling

He saw the assassin was Al Capone

One of the most violent infamous gangstas in American History

He gained notice during the Prohibition Era of 1920’s and 1930’s

Smuggling and bootlegging liquor

Tommy didn’t know what to do to face peer pressure or just leave

He had a Mac .10 gun on him with 36 bullets

He notice AL Capone was with his gang members a lot

The media was giving $60, 000, 000 for anyone who killed Al Capone

All his members was fighting for that money

His friends pulled out their pistols and started firing

In anger Tommy pulled his gun and started shooting Al Capone

Al Capone and his henchmen had AK 47 on them.

He knew 1 bullet could kill Al Capone and collect the bounty

When he fired a shot it went right through Al Capone’s eye

Al Capone fell motionless like falling off a balcony

When he wanted to celebrate his defeat and get ready to celebrate

His own friends in jealousy and hate started shooting him

As he fell it felt like a piano falling off a roof

Blog Postings For This Unit

In this unit as you know we are doing book clubs. My book is "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson. The theme is "Lonely" because in the book my main character now has no friends after Kyle Rodger's party." After she opened her mouth on the party and called the cops and they arrested her friends brother or relatives. Now it's her freshman year in High School and she has no friends and her life is horrible. Her life goes right down the drain. She has a man vs society in the story. She has conflict over a large body of people. I believe the author's purpose is to entertain and inform. I believe entertain to have us get really in the book and makes the book seem fun in a kind of way. I also believe inform because she wants to inform us that high school is going to have some rough times and to get us to know how high school is. She did this because she wants to maybe relate to a time she had a rough time in high school. Mostly this unit takes place in the school and at home. To me I would describe the characters in this story as not nice people. I mean I understand if someone calls the cop on you it is a reason not to talk to them but to ignore her completely it is not necessary. That was your best friend before and at least ask her "Why did she snitch on the party."
Melinda life is so down the drain because now she cuts school to go to the mall and she also for lunch go in the janitor's closet to avoid the embarassment in the lunchroom. I think she needs to settle her problems face to face instead of hiding forever. Running never settles anything it makes matters even worse. She tries to talk to her former best friend name Rachel but she ignores her like she never heard anything she said. Now Melinda life is completely ruin because she lost her new best friend Heather. She was never Melinda's best friend she just needed someone to talk to. She tells her that they are completely different and they never got the chance to really know each other. As I said before I believe Melinda is going to find out what really happened at Kyle Rodgers party and "Why did she opened her mouth and tell the police." Who knows maybe just maybe she might regain back her friends. The main thing I want to know is "What would happen in the story if she never snitched on Kyle Rodger's party and how her life would have been".

Theme

The theme in my book "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson is "Lonely". She is a total outcast and now she lost her best friend Heather. She is now lonely for sure. Another theme that I could think of is "Sometimes Just Shutup". Melinda wouldn't have been in this situation if her mouth never open. Who knows maybe she would have been popular? She is so lonely. All great things end in a suprising way and I believe the book will end suprisingly. There is no doubt about that.

Having Fun

Today since I did my blog on Speak I want to do it on what I want to be when I grow up. I want to be a professional wrestler. I want to beat my favorite wrestler of all time The Game Triple H. He is my favorite wrestler. John Cena is another of my favorite wrestler. I knew Triple H longer. I grew up learning everything I know about wrestling from the King of Kings. Beating him in a match is an accomplishment. I also like the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels. His Sweet Chin Music is a move that would send your teeth down your throat. I just love wrestling so much. Next year when I transfer to DeWitt Clinton H.S I am going to make sure I am on the wrestling team. I want to be the best. I want to prove that when it comes to wrestling theres no stopping me.

Speak Summary and How Can Conflict Affect The Character?

In my book club group I am reading The book "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is a freshman girl name Melinda Sordino who is going through a bumpy rode at her freshman year in High School. She is a total outcast. She stays at the janitor closet during lunch and gym. To avoid the embarassment. She has low self of steem. She loses her best friend Rachel. However she was not always an outcast until the Summer when she called the cops on a party and many of her friends and her friends family and relatives got arrested. She has only 1 friend name Heather. However she is not as close as Heather only to use her as a "friend". I have 1 small prediction. That is that she is going to lose Heather and find out something happened to her during the party.

Conflict can affect a character. It could be Man vs Man, Man vs Society and Man vs Nature. Man vs Man is when the main character has problems with another person (antagonist). Man vs Society is when the main character has problems with more people (society). Last but not least Man vs Nature. When the main character has problem with nature. In my story the main character Melinda Sordino is going through Man vs Society. She has issues with a large body of people. It happened to her during Kyle Rodgers party. This shows how conflict can affect a character. One little conflict can change a characters how act and emotion.

This week with my book club I read how she spended Thanksgiving with her family, how they had an argument. She also asked her best friend Rachel for a math problem. I read how this girl came up to Melinda and told us how she called the cops on the Kyle Rodgers party. She felt so nervous she could not even talk.

So far in my book club I am reading a book called Speak. I can relate to the book because people tell me that "I dont speak". Which is not the real me. So far my main character is going through a rough time in High School. She has 1 friend and her ex best friends dont talk to her for no reason. I can relate that because I seen people who have ex best friends that dont talk to them. My main character is going through a rough time. I can relate because when I started middle school I knew a few people and everybody was so different from me.

I feel kind of entertained. I dont know why but the book is keeping me entertained. Its getting me into the book. I feel so upset on how the main character feels.

Apparent and Hidden Agenda

I am doing my apparent and hidden agenda on TNA Impact from last night and spoilers on next Thursday at the Impact Zone. Let me start off with last nights results. The night started off with Booker T telling Robert Rhoode the man who injured his wife to meet him 1 by 1. But instead his new manager Payton Banks delivered a slap across his face then Ms Brooke came and attacked Payton. Later in the night Robert Rhoode and Payton Banks came and handcuffed Booker T and Ms. Brookes and took out a belt and gave them the whips. It was a ladder match for the drinking belt championship, The Cowboy James Storm vs Eric Young but ended when James Storm manager Jacqueline came and grabbed the belt for the win. It was Kurt Angle vs Kevin Nash but Kurt Angle won. I dont have much time to tell you everything. Team 3D can not face any X - Divisions unless they weigh 275 Ibs or less. They kept showing highlights how they have to go on a diet such as eating carrots, salad and diet stuff. This is the apparent article because anyone could have saw it.


I am now going to tell you the spoilers for Next Thursday nights TNA Impact. They said it is going to be a street fight between Kevin Nash and AJ Styles in a street fight. They said Kevin Nash defeated him. It was a First Blood Match Samoa Joe vs Tomko which Tomko won. It was Six Sided Steel Cage match Kurt Angle vs Christian Cage. They were both up to the top but Christian Cage's foot touch the floor first. There for he won. It was also a 16 Man Battle Royal where the winner got to choose the stipulation for there match at Destination X. Curry Man won but Shark Boy announced if 3D could make it up to weight they would face them in a Fish Market Street Fight but if they dont make it they have to leave TNA. Rhino defeated Judas Mesias. Booker T comes out and it's announced he will face Robert Roode in a Strap Match at Destination X with Ms. Brooks and Payton Banks in their respective corners. Roode comes out and he and Booker brawl before being seperated by security. This is a hidden agenda because it is not obvious if it is a rumor or if it really happened.

TNA Impact! Results

Last night on Valentine's Day was a special edition on TNA Impact! So many things happen that will make Valentine's Day a memorable night for TNA Impact. Kurt and Karen Angle renewed heir wedding vows but after the minister lost his glasses so he thought 1 of the member of the Angle Alliance AJ Styles (my favorite TNA superstar) was Kurt Angle declared AJ Stles and Karen Angle husband and wife suddenly AJ Styles planted a big kiss on Karen Angle as Kurt Angle was stripped in his boxers by Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe. Also Tyson Tomko announced why he cost his former teammate Christian Cage the NWA/TNA World Heavyweight Champion Sunday At Against All Odds, saying he takes credit for his defeat. Chritian Cage asked him to join an alliance to get revenge on Tomko and AJ Styles. Later TNA Coordinate Director Jim Cornette announced that later in the main event it will be Samoa Joe and Christian Cage against TNA Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. Before the match took place Tomko told Kurt Angle that he rejoined with the Angle Alliance. Somehow even before that happen Christian Cage was attacked backstage by the "mystery person". So Samoa Joe took Kevin Nash as his partner. Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash won after Kurt Angle interfered on the Tag Team Champions behalf. Team 3D was scheduled to face Curry Man and Shark Boy but due to their loss at Against All Odds they had to weigh under 275 Ibs. Brother Devon weighed under 275 Ibs but his brother weighed more than 275 Ibs so it became a handicap match. But Brother Ray took the scale and smashed it on Shark Boy allowing the win. Last night the Monster Abyss was scheduled to face Big Pompa Pump Scott Steiner but he went back up the ramp and for the first time in his TNA career he took his beloved mask off and left. So Scott Steiner introduced his newest freak Rhaka Khan. he challenged anyone backstage to a match and Petey Williams accepted the challenge and stepped up to the plate but at the end he lost and Scott Steiner gave him a handshake for the try. Booker T was waiting for Robert Rhoode after he injured his wife in the jaw but he ended up not coming. So Jim Cornette made a match at the next pay per view Destination X. Meanwhile the War Machine Rhino returned and blamed the Cowboy James Storm for all his issued so he challenged him to an Elevation Match at Destination X. ODB faced the 280 Ib women the Owesome Kong while Gail Kim was at ringside. In a bout featuring the superstars of NASCAR, Homicide defeated Chris Sabin and Jimmy Rave after NASCAR star Juan Pablo Montoya hit Lance Hoyt with a chair, allowing Homicide to get the win!

Unforms Should Be Banned From School

I believe uniforms should be banned from school. I believe that because not everyone wears it. I know the only reason we have to wear uniform is cause some people wear stuff inappropiate. Why should everyone be tortured into wearing uniform? I think we meaning the students should put a stop into this. If we all work together we could take out uniforms once and for all. Sure some people who are hurrying to school could get wear there clothes faster. But some boys and girls say there crushes like people who look fresh, nice and cool. Teachers don't have to wear it and that's not fair. Some of them wear stuff that can be offensive and inappropiate to children. I know for sure when they were our ages they didnt wear it even if they were forced to. Teachers should be able to help the kids ban uniform. They would be known for the hero/heroin who stopped uniform. But they are too scared to do stuff such as that. Teachers most likely dislike almost everything we like. Maybe if teachers were to work with kids we could achieve alot. No uniform, Trips, Parties, alot of stuff. Teachers act like there weren't kids when there were our ages.

Boxing and Wrestling

Today I am doing my blog on boxing since it is part if a sport. I am going to write the schedules on the following month. On Februuary 8, 2008 at Dover Delaware it is going to be Darnell Wilson vs. B.J. Flores, 12 rounds of nonstop wrestling. They will also have a cruiserweight fight. On February 9, 2008 it will be Paul Williams vs. Carlos Quintana, 12 rounds, for Williams' WBO welterweight title;.

Now I am doing my blog on the glorious wrestling. Meaning WWE, TNA, ECW. It could mean any type of wrestling. Tonight on WWE I found out that it's show Smackdown will not air on the CW network for much long. Maybe I infer that it will go back on UPN again. Last night was TNA (Total Nonstop Action). Yesterday it was the main event Christian Cage vs Judas Mesias. Christian Cage won because of a distraction and got him in his finisher The Unprettier.

On Monday Night on RAW it was John Cena (248 Ibs vs Mark Henry (380 Ibs) in an Arm Wrestling Match. John Cena came from and right arm injury and he still had to do an arm wrestling match. John Cena was on his way to victory however Randy Orton came and attacked him so John Cena retaliated and ran his way. Mark Henry tried to attack John Cena and does his finisher which is a curse word that I cant repeat. I feel as if John Cena came to soon with his arm injury and should have waited alittle more.

Inferencing

Today me and my class was assigned to find an article on our groups and make an inference on it. My group is based on sports. So I went on ESPN and found an article on Phoenix players Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks traded for Shaquille O'Neal. My inference based on the article is that they did this trade so the Phoenix Suns could at least make it to the NBA Championship.

Sports

Wrestlemania 24. The grandest stage of all. History will be made. Legacy's will be born. March 30, 2008. The WWE, World Heavyweight, and ECW Champion will all be defended. The best WWE pay per view off all time. Compared to the Super Bowl it is the most greatest events and the NBA Finals are the best. But before we talk about Wrestemania 24 lets talk about the pay per view that is coming on February 17th No Way Out. 2 Elimination Chambers in 1 night. Huge event. Larger than the MLB's World Series. They are all competing for a golden tickets to Wrestlemania 24 for the biggest belts in WWE history. I would love to have tickets for the event but it is in Las Vegas Nevada. The Raw Elimination Chamber consist of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, John Bradshaw Layfield, and Umaga. The Smackdown superstars consist of Batista, Undertaker, Big Daddy V, The Great Khali, Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP), and Finlay. One of the most barbaric matches in WWE.

Sports

The New York Giants vs The New England Patriots. Super Bowl XLII/42. It was the Giants offense after the quarter toss. At the last and 4th down Eli Manning punt it and made 3. Thats when it became the Patriots offense and they made a quick touchdown in the first down. 6 points for the Patriots plus Tom Brady punted it which gave them 7 points. The score was the same until the last quarter. When the Giants made a touchdown 9 plus a punt 10. 10 points for the Giants. Withh 2:42 minutes left when Randy Moss made a touchdown and a kick gave them 14 points. The crowd thought it was over and the 18 - 0 would continue. However Eli Mannning had thought differently. With 35 seconds left in the game the Plaxico Burress scored the winning touchdown making them the 2007 NFL Champions. After the game Eli Manning won the MVP award and a 2008 car. It was my first and best Super Bowl in my opinion. For the first time I was suprised with a NY team.
